List of the equipment you should bring - general

You can print this list and check off the items as your preparation progresses. We've left a couple of empty spaces for you to complete your list. Do not forget to bring your right and left margins to zero (click on the "File - Page setup" menu of your browser).

If you want to suggest other items, complete the empty spaces directly on your computer and click on the button at the bottom of the page. This way, the checklist won't be erased. You don't have to click again on the "send" button. We will get your suggestions by e-mail.

 

For the cottage:

All your food
Drinking water
Cooler and ice or Ice Packs to keep your beer cool (and give our propane gas fridge a chance!)
Towels for the shower
Hand towels
Dish cloths
Shampoo
Laundry detergent (in case of accident)
Paper towels
Paper tissue (Kleenex)
Plastic film to wrap food
A few plastic bags of different sizes
Coffeemaker and filters (if needed)
Alarm clock (if needed)
Sleeping bag or bedding (pillowcases, sheets and warm blankets)
Ear plugs (just in case one of your friends sleeps a bit to well…)
Candles and/or burners that repel mosquitoes
Warm clothes AT ALL TIME
Bathing suit (if desired)
Your medication (if needed)
Books, cards, etc. (if desired)

 

For hunting / fishing:

Camera
Rain clothes: pants and jacket
High and comfortable rubber boots (add insoles if needed)
Rag for your hands
Insect repellent (made with Deet or citronella)
Mosquito net (if desired)
Flashlight and batteries
Hat to protect you from the sun
Sunglasses
Sun cream
"Ziploc" plastic bags for the fish fillets
Cooler for lunches
Cushions for the rowboat (if desired)
Life jacket (we have a few for rent)
First aid kit including what you need for your allergies
Fishing / hunting gear
Hunting/fishing license (also for sale at the check station)

 

For an even more comfortable stay:

Your pillow
Your dish cloth
Your favourite soap (hand soap and/or dishwashing liquid)
Your favourite kitchen knives
Your potato peeler
Your garlic press
Your can opener
Your corkscrew
A measuring cup
Plastic, paper or Styrofoam glasses without CFCs
Disposable dishes

We ask that you bring your garbage to the check station when you leave. It wood be even better if you brought back with you all the recyclable items. We care about nature.
